Make it at your own pace. You can come back whenever you like. We’ll email you when your finished pages are ready to review.

    Clear photos from a few angles work best. A photo of an old print works too. If they have a favorite outfit, add a photo of them wearing it.

Before drawing the pages, you approve the words and what each picture will show. After that, fixes are for the pictures. A round is one set of requests you send together across the book.

After you approve your book, it’s printed in about 1 to 6 days, then takes 3 to 5 days to reach you in the continental US.

Questions

I’m a grandparent. Can I make one?

Yes, it makes a lovely gift. Use photos the parents are happy for you to use. We’ll ask you to confirm that before we draw anything.

Which photos work best?

Three to six clear ones, with at least one looking straight at the camera. A phone photo of an old print works too.

Do I have to write the story?

Not at all. Tell us about them and we’ll write it with you, line by line. If you’ve already written one, send it and we’ll bring it to life.

When will it arrive?

You can come back whenever you like. We’ll email you when your finished pages are ready to review. After you approve your book, it’s printed in about 1 to 6 days, then takes 3 to 5 days to reach you in the continental US. Express shipping speeds up delivery, not the making.

What if I change my mind, or it arrives damaged?

If you change your mind before your book is sent to the printer, we’ll refund every dollar. If it arrives damaged, send us a photo within 14 days and we’ll print you a new one.

What can I change after the pages are drawn?

You can change the words and picture descriptions before you approve the story. After that, two rounds of picture fixes are included. A round is one set of requests you send together across the book. If a picture still needs help after both rounds, contact us before approving it for print. A full refund is available before your book is sent to the printer.

How are the pictures and story made?

We use AI to write and draw from your photos and ideas. You approve the story and the finished book before it prints.

What happens to our photos?

Unpaid drafts can be deleted seven days after you start them. For paid books, we keep your photos and working files until the book ships. We email you before we delete them. They can be deleted seven days after shipping, and at least a day after that email. Deletion may happen later. We keep the final PDF, your approvals and your order records.
